Solving Corruption at Grass root Level or Top most Level

Solving Corruption at Grass root Level or Top most Level

Corruption! Inflation! Recession! These words were only heard once way back in 1931 and then they resurfaced only in late 2008-09 and in current context though corruption is one such menace which existed even at ancient times. Imagining world without corruption, no wars would have ever happened; fight for survival would not take place and no life cycle would have given birth to new civilizations, dynasties etc. Whatsoever even if we hate corruption to some extent since it’s man made and reality is that we cannot eliminate it in one stroke or forever?  Like presence of bacteria, virus as well as other tiniest microbes a small level of corruption would still will be left alone.
Just like the word creativity is perceived as something which is beautiful, unique or which is beyond our imagination or perception, but in reality it has greater-wider means, corruption cannot just be taken to money, gold laundering, scams or other things.
Although corruption should be restricted at both the levels viz at Grass root and even at Top level. One can never ever expect that there would be any efforts or even for that matter any small initiative from our top brass or bureaucrats. So only option to restrict corruption left is at Grass root level which is also base level in which general public strives. This level acts as foundation or building block and in case if it in itself is weak, one know what’s the end result. Everything will crumble or fall apart like pack of cards! That’s exactly happening in the wake of current global turmoil especially in our country.
Before venturing into the topic, a general awareness to one and all that we might think that political turmoil and corrupted roots is just confined to our territory which is a bit true. However corruption is also present in mass in other countries as well. Although not naked to our hearing and vision as general public with equi support from top brass/bureaucrats, strong judicial roots etc minimize or even negate the level of corruption bound in foreign countries.
Still wandering the perfect methodology or devising strategies that can take years or even decades! Solution is right in front of us and which has already been thrown in limelight from previous discussions. Not a problem, here are few tips as a responsible citizen although hard for us to preach as we know for matter of fact that “We are best teachers, but not good preachers”.

MEASURES/TIPS FOR MINIMISING CORRUPTION-GRASS ROOT LEVEL:
There is no fixed mechanism/methodology etc to eliminate corruption at any levels since it’s a human crafted issue. So only way to minimize corruption especially at base level is to directly strike to the depth by not allowing corruption to develop. Following are the things that can control corruption from taking roots:
      A.  Putting a complete full stop to bribes: Primary issue of corruption which in later part transforms into dreaded issues like
·        Inflation
·        Deflating currency crisis.
·        Recession
·        Great economic depression
·        Unemployment and many other global issues
Is only due to the increased involvement of bribe and keeping bulk money or liquid resources in form of cash, gold or precious metals, fixed assets like real estates, property, land & buildings, lending or taking bribes for fulfilment of self objectives etc should first be stopped as it would reduce level of corruption.

        B.  Not entertaining donations in educational institutions, industries, medical fields: Accepting and even providing donations in any form-cash,  cheque, demand drafts or in any other from must be stopped especially in educational institutions, government organizations, private organizations and medical fields. Donations, bribes have taken such dreaded forms that people even commit suicide as their wards are not given admissions in schools/colleges. Sometimes doctors in wake of not being provided a good fees or donation refuse to treat emergency cases leading to even death of patient. One cannot forget their duties/responsibilities for sake of monetary benefit as one and all must realize eternal truth that we don’t posses or take anything when we are born or even during our death. But our egoistic, self centered mind always drives us to earn more and more just for fulfilling our needs, desires and preferences.

        C.  Stopping Black Money or hoarding of cash, gold, precious metals or other valuable things: Black money is a form of currency wherein there’s over possession of unaccounted wealth, money through their illegal business in form of cash, jewelry or other things not yet been listed in government records. It’s not just limited to top bureaucrats, political top brass, and business people but to even general public. It’s like a witchcraft performing Black Magic and taking possession of our soul & body. Same manner black money eats out our economy leading to the phenomena of poverty, unemployment and other issues.

        D.  Pledging not to be a tax defaulter/evader or file returns properly: This might look a joke and although as a responsible citizen, one must file regular tax and income returns failed to do so may attract penalties/liabilities etc. India has largest community of regular tax payers but at same time there’s increase in the people who defaults by not paying tax or have proper documentation to show filing of taxable source of income. Thus it leads to a huge black money market which in turn leads to hoard of issues other than recession like unemployment, Inflation, depleted rate of currency, fuel hike etc.

        E.   Follow Rules and regulations properly without violating them: Might seem strange to hear or even ever imagined! However joking it might sound, but we at one stake believe in a complex phenomena called “Unity in Diversity” and other related aspectsHowever reality bites the dust as in our case we violate rules at will! Then right from be it causing traffic snarls or jams as everybody wants to be first and fast in the rat race world not giving opportunity for others to negotiate road and ourselves can be followers, helmets for bikers, seat belts to be worn while driving cars etc. But instead everybody wants to lead their way out. We also have a very bad thing within us that in case “there’s no rule which cannot be broken viz in case of rule there must be an anti-rule”. Hence we must follow rules and then must blame/pin-point our corrupted politicians.

I can go on and on. But now onus lies within us how we can solve corruption within our level instead of waiting for putting blame on our political or judicial bureaucrats as it’s proven that one cannot ever think of getting any result. These points though might be contradictory, yet at least now might hope to open our soul and insight to help others thereby creating a better scope of world.

So my view points are in front of everyone. Want to have a larger participation and share your points/view on the same. All are invited to share this forum for a noble cause.

TEACHER’S DAY-DAY TO COMMEMORATE OUR REAL MENTORS CUM PATH MAKERS

TEACHER’S DAY-DAY TO COMMEMORATE OUR REAL MENTORS CUM PATH MAKERS

Dr. Sarvealli Radhakrishnan
One can never ever deny the top most contributions made by these important people in any path of our lives. Mother to bring a new life on earth amidst exuberant pain and nurture it, father to safeguard as well as nurture it. However most important and vital work is that of a teacher who provides the light or enlightenment to a soul in form of education and also provides shape to our goals, career etc.

There is Mother’s day, father’s day, and even Valentine’s Day- a craze now everywhere. However sadly engulfed in worldly chores as well as innumerable sacrifices, initial struggles, everyone forgets the binding power or the core person behind our success viz the Educationalist, power source of enlightening us who are none other than our Teachers.

Undeniably one can never ever forget compassion, generosity, unlimited advises and last but not the least the vital nectar in form of basic foundation stone of getting educated from our mentors right from kindergarten level to higher ups. It’s even well said that our teachers take any form and their success lies with not the way they get growth, but the way we grow to be famous or eminent personalities in society.

There cannot be a better day to commemorate our teacher’s on the wake of teacher’s day and remembering them for their special contributions in a particular field/area or the community in general. Sadly, but true that with a rat race kind of world, majority of us tend to realize that if mother-father duo makes the roots of a society, teachers are the branches who powers the tree viz we in rat race world are dwindling the intricate relationship shared with our mentors, teachers or professors as fondly called at any level. The only time one gets to share or even ever done the role of teacher is at school or to certain extent college level on Teacher’s day.

Teacher’s day celebrations and dates vary in different countries unlike World Teacher’s day which is unanimously celebrated on October 5Th worldwide. Let us have pondered upon life of one such philanthropist, educationalist, social activist and great leader of Indie India.

Teacher’s Day in India: Remembering Dr Radhakrishnan:

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan fought against all odds in life and from a tender age he was fond of studies and even was a child prodigy. Since his childhood, he developed a bonding towards teaching. He hold multiple post in various national & foreign institutions before being elected as Vice president and president.                                         v     Articles for reputed journals like “The Quest, Journal of Philosophy and the International Journal of Ethic”.

Book named “The Philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore” wherein he believed Tagore’s philosophy to be “Manifestation of India and it’s people”.

v  The Reign of Religion in Contemporary Philosophy released in year 1920 was also acknowledged best sellers in International book arena that year.
v  He also made exemplary effort for western community to follow Indian philosophy. In other words he was the “Father of Indian philosophy”. In his book “An Idealist View of Life” he made a powerful case for the importance of intuitive thinking as opposed to purely intellectual forms of thought.

In year 1962, he was elected as second president of Indie India and got accolades not just nationally but even global front. The general public wanted to commemorate him on his birthday on 05th Sep 1962.

That’s when he proposed this very day to be celebrated as “Teacher’s Day” as he was staunch believer that “Teacher’s are best minds of the country who shape the world and next gen”.

His death in the year 1975 on 17th April might have bought curtains down on an illustrious educationist, rationalist, socialist as well as a great mentor and leader who attempted Indian philosophy reach new heights. But not before he had foreseen that India would once be an education hub of world which has really come true.

As a true citizen I want to give my token of respect to this great soul of India along with millions of teaching/faculty round just not in India but globally.

"A small token of gratitude and love to all Teachers and Educationalist round the world".

What's Creativity?

What's Creativity?

A complex word like creativity takes up a lot of sense and cannot just be described very naturally. From the artificial as well as limitations binding our very heart, soul, mind we blindly believe that something which is beautiful, unique or which is beyond our imagination or perception is creativity. Its realm is beyond the way it is generally shown in arts, literature, dance, music or be it any other field. It’s as if one huddles inside an imaginative known world to search if there’s existence of GOD or the omnipotent elsewhere wherein every human being is in itself a remarkable expo of GOD viz he resides in every one of us.
The egoistic, selfish and last but not the least the smallest , lightest part and powerhouse of our body- The human brain filled with full of thoughts, confusion etc is just the way that of the navel of a Kasturi deer who runs behind the trail of scent emanating from its own navel, but lingers or search it in woods thinking it’s coming from outside. Similarly we search god or drive round and round unrealistic things not accepting at last reality from our mind wherein as old age adage says it all that “All beings created by GOD is potentially divine”.
Hence the realm of creativity is not just limited to any one form or the way we perceive it to be. Nothing in this universe is mundane.

v Right from smallest speck of dust, microbe or even for that matter tiniest virus/bacteria/amoeba to the largest animals, birds.
v Tiniest twinkling stars present in millions in sky to the red bright sun and luminescent moon spreading its white radiance illuminating earth's crust.
v The range of planets from smallest to largest in entire cosmos/universe including the only planet like Earth where life exists is all but a form of manifestation or creativity.
v The beautiful white yet all powerful Himalayan or hilly areas to plains to the all icy cold regions of Antartica to submerged place like that of Venice, Amazon forests and other landscapes etc are all creative.
v Temples, monuments and innumerable mosques and other places, religions etc are also a speck/form of creativity.
v Blossoming of Flowers, seasonal changes, chirping of Birds, herd of deers, Lions or other animals all is happening due to everlasting finch of perfect creativity bestowed on even animals by “Mother Nature”
v The minuteness and detailed perspective of our organs or body parts like that of hands, ears, eyes, heart, brain, feet, legs as well as hoard of other things make up our body which are intricate, well aligned and positioned perfectly and carrying wide variety of inter-intra related works is way too better to think about the extension of creative world.
v We just name or think a second and we get to know that one cannot just find the start and end of creativity. The perfect personification in this case is about the “beauty of dance of blood gushing through small pores, channels and off course the carriers-Veins through all parts of body to Brain and back”.

One can keep going on and on in the everlasting quench to explore if there’s any utmost limit wherein creativity seizes. But it’s never bound to happen as even a cooked up story coming from unrealistic corner of mind is in itself a creativity at its pinnacle level. We say that “Nothing is impossible for Man”.

However yeah, defining or speaking volumes or searching about core of start and end of creativity is one thing which we can never ever explore or find even in wildest of our dreams. It’s a much broader concept and one must broaden our vision to really experience or even understand the same.

Moral of the write up:
No words or anything can ever describe boundary or limit of "Creativity" because the word "creativity" in itself is very creative.

Chanakyan principles-India's lesson to control foreign policies with neighboring countries

Chanakyan principles-India's lesson to control

foreign policies with neighbouring countries

CHANAKYA- Indian Economic Visionary
India is definitely the most hospitable as well as a very friendly democratic as well as secularist country in whole world. Our great bonding in form of “Athithi Devo Bhava” meaning welcoming any form of guests is still on high and practised a lot by millions of our people whether being in India or elsewhere in world. However off lately our friendliness attitude as well as polite and soft behaviour against unacceptable provocations, violations, incessant cross border terrorism as well as complete ignorance of mutual pacts, terms and conditions lay down while doing treaty with our neighbours:

·        Pakistan on Northern-western frontiers.
·        Chinese & Bangladeshi intrusion from eastern frontiers.
·        As well as down southern most frontier- Sri Lankan Intrusion.

However as usual India’s silence which actually though is an act to perceive and establish peace with all our neighbouring countries have turned hostile as they think it as their mode of intruding into our country with ease, go on with killing spree of innocent civilians, security personnel’s with their terrorist orgs and outfits, unquestionable old foreign treaties, policies that are just not followed etc have now caused us a big menace coupled with big headache to fight against such issues.

CHANAKYAN Philosophy- SAMA, DAMA, DHANDA, BHEDA
Undeniably here an age old adage comes into my mind that “One’s loss is another one’s gain and vice versa”. It’s also a wakeup call indeed for our political stalwarts to honour world teachings of Chanakya- the visionary author of Arthashastra (Economy) cum political strategist, Swami Vivekananda-pioneer in spreading light of wisdom and even other such visionaries whom India had completely ignored.

The topic encircles round Chanakya’s principles of strategic vision: sama, dama, danda, bheda - reconciliation, inducement, deterrent action and subversion - and the lesser known asana or the strategic art of deliberately sitting on the fence. What Chanakya was able to grasp hundreds of years ago is that foreign relations require an array of instruments, each corresponding to the specific situation on the ground and in conformity with a long-term strategic vision. Pakistan, China, Bangladesh as well as Sri Lanka have truly mastered the teachings of Chanakya wherein India has forgotten it, thanks again to Indian political brass.
Such is the easy going for our neighbours in establishing hold at backdrop that we have suffered a lot in past, but irony and pathetic thing is still no lessons learnt. For illustration: Be it the high profile

1.   Uncanny Kandhar plane hijack drama wherein plane carrying more than 250 people in excess is hijacked and taken to Pak occupied Kashmir by Pakistani government aided militants wanted to free Pakistan high profile wanted terrorists.

CONDOLENCE MEETING AT GROUND TAJ
3.   The highly dastardly 26/11 Mumbai attacks which not just India but whole world witnessed gruesome and bloodshed of millions of innocent civilians cum brave hearts who volunteered to cause of rescuing people to safer places. We announced that we would not engage in substantive negotiations with Pakistan until the perpetrators, whose culpability was beyond doubt, were brought to book. Subsequently, step by step we retreated from this decision. However the very next day media along with Indian bureaucrats simply stemmed into a long silence by stating that “Life of Mumbai and a fellow Mumbaikar is back on tracks just to show we are fighting back”. My direct query is that is the life of an Indian so mean and forgetful? Answer is for us it might not be, but yeah for our political bureaucracy, it’s just a simple ball game.

Chinese Intrusion In Eastern Sector

4.   Intrusion of our eastern borders by Chinese troops recently when a Indo-Chinese pact held that both countries have absolute no rights in intruding in others territory unconditionally and untimely can lead to call of taking serious decisions against pact even terming it “Null and Void” from our end. Next it also states that if China wages a war like situation, even Indian government has freedom to call it to intrude their territories. However as usual on both stances nothing has been done by Indian bureaucrats.

CHINESE INTRUSION IN INDIA
5.   Even our Indian political system is so faithful, loyal, friendly with smaller nations like that of Sri Lanka which was undergoing a turmoil when LTTE waged war in their own country, India sent hoard of military contingent in Jaffna and Colombo to protect them from crisis like situation. However the then Sri Lankan PM Mahinda Rajapaksa even didn't budge when intruders started claiming Indian state of Tamil Nadu their own and formation of separatist state in Tamil Nadu.
6.    Even Bangladesh have joined the bandwagon group of spreading cross border terrorism with India in east and have now occupied a large part of Indian state of WB (West Bengal) and have even uncannily called it their land. At one front the seven sister states comprising of West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Sikkim and Meghalaya all are already confronting mounting issues like separatist states like Bodo, Naga and other militant outfits as well as Chinese and Bangladeshi intrusion, so much so that in years to come China and Bangladeshi government have even announced that these states are part of their respective countries.
Well friends aren't this just startling? Yeah they are. But repeated such inhumane, unfriendly acts have been ignored by our politicians completely. We all know they don’t have minds to think and act. Otherwise if they had we Indian citizens would feel much safer.
Time has definitely come to follow footsteps of Chanakya and other people to device a combined economic, political as well as strong foreign policy based on the Chanakyan stratagems. Last but not the least if our leaders don’t realize potentiality of “Now VS Never”, our silence which has been taken not as token of non-violence and peace, but as our meek surrender to all types of cross border issues. So it’s time to break off this silence and device cerebral and holistic, stringent more importantly effective foreign policy.

Food for Tort

Food for tort
Not to be confused with food for thought, but yes one can definitely  imagine that general public or people living BPL (Below poverty line) are just been fooled. The issue raised here in this context is about recent “Food bill” that has been passed by the government which states at one hand that malnutrition, hunger, poverty etc would be controlled and people living Below poverty line would receive the essential food commodities like rice, whole wheat, pulses, grains etc supplied at Rs.3 per Kg, coarse cereals like jowar, ragi, bajra and other such items at Rs. 1 per Kg and 35 Kg’s of rice, wheat etc. However for a country with a population of 1,241 million and rising, food security bill is not enough. No doubt a great faction of people comprising of researchers, analyst, social activists, members of opposition parties as well as media and general public have even touted food security bill as Food Insecurity bill instead.
Government have also announced that by the year 2016, India would be declared as poverty less or malnutrition less country. However with the present rate of inflation as well as deflating currency issue soaring at an alarming level, meager announcements would not defy that situation is uncontrollable at this juncture. Launching this scheme just cannot defy the scene that a common man/general public undergoes in every day scenario. However we cannot predict a straightforward as well as good scheme from a government wherein they are on rampaging spree with the ever increasing list of corrupt, tainted officials.
Just like a qualitative work is most important aspect than just quantitative work, same way government must realize that it’s just not quantity which matters but the quality of food supplied to two thirds of Indian population (82 crores) must not be of subsidized or sub-standard quality as it’s been usually seen till now. Next important thing which matters really the most is

  • Whether food security bill passed would really see off the day viz will be a reality or will just be as in paper like many other amendments, laws or bill being passed by government.
  • Whether the food security program with an estimated budget of Rs. 1,30,000 Crore government support will be a scam free one or would also suffer from similar issues as other programs do have suffered.
  •  Whether the approved food security bill passed would reach the target audience viz the below poverty line people? Since there’s many such approved amendments and laws, but only on paper which has still not reached midst of general public.
  •  Like many pending law and scam related cases still cornered to our judiciary system, proposed food security bill would really be effective or any other issue will arise. Only time will tell. So instead just passing food security bill is not enough as present judiciary system faces a lot of other major issues which is still not been answered to general public.
Well one would be wandering what’s meant by tort? And what’s the current pretext of it in giving such a title. “TORT” refers to a kind of word used to refer US judicial law or system wherein “stringent or tough action” can be taken or in other words right to execute lawful action/proceedings against any crimes/atrocities etc committed against general public.

However in our judiciary system corrupt people, violators etc are not tactfully punished. The result of which are millions of pending cases in law books or unclosed and unrevealed judicial flaws. Hope that food security bill doesn’t prove to be insecure and is protected from scams, judiciary flaws and other related issues and reach to target audience. If not, it will enact same scene that of “Rich getting even more richer, poor getting poorer” as well as “General public suffering a lot with other issues”.

Falling Indian Currency yet gold on constant rise

Falling Indian Currency yet gold on constant rise

At time when Indian economy is at doldrums next only to that of Brazilian economy, two things are constantly in news. One, off course is our currency’s rate depletion against USD, leading aftermaths and second rise in Gold prices despite the currency/economic slowdown. A leading pool of financial experts, business analysts even state Gold to be made a leading carrier of our currency or given equal rights as its one of the only commodities that’s ever on a constant rise.
Some trader unions, panelists of renowned survey firm, gold brokers etc even touts to share/transform one’s money to Gold to have a pool of liquid reserves that can be utilized at time when crisis cripples us or nation. Thus it acts as one of sources to boost our economic downturn. According to sources quoted by Bombay bullion association with a leading newspaper daily shows a startling figure of Gold price closing at Rs.32, 585/10 gram an increase of 2.5 % than a week ago. Against pound an increase of 1% to close at £1,721 amidst the deepening economic crisis.
India largest producer of Gold, Silver and other such precious metals contribute near about 50% of total reserves. At this moment a query which arises in one’s mind is why there is huge inflation & economic downturn that’s affecting India? The answer is well known. It’s corruption that endangers and makes this issue very grave. But startling fact is that it’s not just corruption but just like money laundering, gold laundering and hoard of illegal activities which powers these issues to an untouched levels.
Gold acts as a current asset because of fact that at time of crisis, all assets like Gold, silver, diamond and other precious materials are soaring high and there utility lies in that they can be converted into currency on exchange . Despite this only issue is the considerable drop in our currency rates.
Gold, silver products are also soaring and is in high demand throughout the time period due to religious, traditional believes, marriage functions, utility of being used and exchange source for purchase of any commodity next only to currency at certain levels and can be converted into liquid reserves at time of crisis so that one can remain satisfied to certain extent.
The yellow metal surge ahead of the rest in India because of fact that there’s unprecedented support to it and bulk purchases attract a lot of reduction and margin as it acts as a booster to increase our country’s economic condition. RBI-India’s financial power head have even proposed to government to propose a “Gold hour” in the two houses of Rajyasabha and Loksabha where a close monitor will track Gold rates and also invent various methodologies to use it as an alternative against Rupee.
I would certainly welcome this move if our government takes a decisive framework against this proposal, but at same time want them to take stringent mechanisms against any violators, gold launderers like the way currency is just a puppet in hands of corrupt officials, money minded people due to which two extreme situation has arise wherein wealth have been accumulated/inherited by few and which has given rise to “Rich getting richer and poor becoming even poorer” as well as “Malnutrition”, ”Hoarding of precious commodities” leading to biggest menace that of “Inflation & recessed economy”

If Indian government doesn’t take right actions, then it would be “Now or never” game for general public. They must also realize that passing off/ bucking under new concept “Food bill” for poor will subdue just hunger and defend malnutrition, but to eradicate greater combat in form of Inflation as well as recession is to be self defiant and device an alternative form of currency which would be untouched, stable enough to provide new dimensions to erstwhile global issues.
